A game of heroic Adventure for 2 to 5 players. Doomgate Legion adds two new card types: Mercenaries and Treasures. Mercenaries are henchman for hire who bring new abilities to the dungeon. Treasures are found after defeating monsters providing powerful new benefits. But beware the cultists are afflicted with horrifying new diseases posing major hurdles for the heroes. Ages 12 and up. 45 minutes playing time. This is a stand alone expansion and does not need the base game!
The stakes have increased, Doom has been released onto the World. All that will stop him is the remaining thunderstones.
Can you forge a formidable adventuring party to brave the dungeon and claim a thunderstone, beating other groups who also have their eyes on the prize?
Generate monsters you will face, heroes you will hire and village cards for resources and other abilities from randomizer cards ensuring no two games are the same.
Strategies efficient in one game may result in your demise in another. Quick-thinking and superior tactics will help you keep your heroes alive and ensure that the Thunderstone - and victory - lie firmly in your grasp.
This is a stand alone expansion of the base game Thunderstone. Playable by itself or in conjunction with the other games.
