CHARTER INFO PREMEIRAS
We do 7-day fishing charters for up to 6 fishermen to the Premeiras shoals, Ilha da Fogo and Ilha Sylva. This area has a lot of big fish and among the most popular are Kingfish, Tuna, Sailfish, Dogtooth Tuna. Marlin are there over December.
You fly into Quelimane here in Mozambique on a Wednesday and fly out the next Wednesday. The reason is that the only same day flight from Quelimane to Maputo to JHB is on a Wednesday, all other days you have to sleep over in Maputo. On arrival at the boat we leave for Pantaloon shoal and arrive there the following morning. Everyday we move north doing one or more shoals and eventually arrive at Ilha Silva and then on to Ilha do Fogo where we stay one day before going back and doing all the shoals again, arriving at Quelimane in time for your Wednsday return flight
Our boat has been designed with a walk around deck so you can fish at any spot around the deck, catch the fish and take it to the low transom at the back to bring it aboard. There is no mast or rigging to interfere with your casting.
We can supply trawling rods but for popping, jigging and dropshot you have to bring your own equipment. You have to bring your own lures for popping, dropshot and jigging.
Accommodation is provided for six people on single beds but this can be modified to double beds if necessary. Hot and cold water for showers are available as well as towels. The best time for fishing in this area is from April to July and then again from October to December.
We provide three meals a day and also supply Coke, Sprite and bottled water. Beer can be ordered by the customers and we will purchase it on their behalf. It is recommended to bring your own spirits.
CHARTER INFORMATION FOR FISHING TRIPS TO Bassas da India.
Our charters to Bassas da India is an eight day charter. When our guests arrive on a Friday, we leave for the Atoll, motoring Friday night, Saturday and Saturday night arriving at Bassas da India on Sunday morning. Five days of fishing then takes place and on Friday evening the return journey commences, arriving at Vilanculos on Sunday morning in time for the return flight.
